HELP ECOATIVO PROTECT NATURE

Together we can make a difference! Ecoativo is a non-profit environmental association that works with volunteers to protect the environment in Portugal. We are dedicated to:

  • Reforesting degraded areas, planting over 2,500 native trees and shrubs.
  • Preserving biodiversity, protecting various endangered species and their habitats.
  • Combating pollution, carrying out 12 clean-up actions in polluted areas.
  • Promoting environmental education, raising awareness among the population about the importance of environmental regeneration.
  • Creating protected areas, implementing measures to protect natural areas of high ecological value.

360° INTERVENTION

Areas of action in our pilot project in Ourondo, Portugal:

  • Sustainable Agriculture: Promoting agricultural practices that preserve the environment.
  • Renewable Energy: Encouraging the use of renewable energy sources and combating the use of fossil fuels.
  • Conscious Consumption: Promoting consumption habits that minimize environmental impact.

HOW YOUR DONATIONS WILL HELP

  • €10: We plant 2 native trees with 1 volunteer.
  • €50: We support a clean-up action of a polluted stream with 1 volunteer.
  • €100: We contribute to the protection of an endangered species, with 2 volunteers.
  • €500: We start a new agroforestry system with 10 volunteers.
  • €1.400: We make Ecoativo independent and multiply the impact of volunteer activities by paying an ecologist for one month.
  • €5.000-€15.000: We start a new nature protection area within a “wildlife sanctuary” plan, focusing on wetlands.
  • €20.000: We multiply the impact of the activities of dozens of volunteers by paying an ecologist for a whole year.
  • For larger amounts: Contact us personally to discuss the best options for using your money most effectively for nature.
